He was a farmer in Needham, MA. During the Revolutionary War he served as a private in Captain Caleb Kingsbury's company, and Colonel Aaron Davis' regiment. He went to war on April 19 1775, and served for three days. He died on August 30, 1775; however, there is no mention if this had to due with any injury sustained from the war.
